Girvin was engaged by Paramount Studios, to create a study of branding for the film, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, scripted by writer F. Scott Fitzgerald. The expectation by the studio marketing and theatrical advertising team, was to create an overview -- a chronological working document or master brand book to be used for exploring thematic intention. The temporal character is based on the concept of the story protagonist, Benjamin Buttons traveling backwards in time, from birth - as an old man, to death - as a baby. While everyone else ages, he grows younger. The point of the book, and creating the branding materials was to set the visual pace, in conjunction with the filming crew and production units, as well as the director David Fincher. The research and collection of material, identity studies and final art treatments explore the range of visual reference, relating to the film production design, as well as context of the film story.

"We're, as always, thankful to be in business with GIRVIN.."
