Girvin was called to work with Joel Silver and the directors Larry and Andy Wachowski at Warner Brothers Studios in Burbank to begin the detailing of a story that would revolutionize entertainment vision.
Beginning with a script, storyboards and live work with the development team, a year before production, Girvin partnered in detailed visualizations of the story, poster conceptions, a new Matrix scrolling alphabet, icons and symbology, color systems and merchandising applications.
