Girvin partnered with Bradley Dickinson and Mikel Rogers to create their new restaurant concept, Pearl. Based on the nature of the pearl as a lustrous, semi translucent and layered precious object, Girvin created the strategy for the development based on the sense of veil-like overlays, specially mixed paints, softened lighting and groups of dramatic arrays of art, silvered reflections, luminous furniture and groupings of special, private rooms and seating configurations. All of these design elements, created with the designers, Dawn Clark, AIA and Robert Norwood, supported the concept of the active and familiar interpretation of richly matured hospitality, held in the presence of the founding partners -- and the engaging warmth of their style -- nurturing the heart of the brand proposition; Girvin's brand storytelling and team leadership ran the gamut from opening positioning, to strategy, communications, signing and environments, interior design and website development modeling.
"Working with Tim Girvin and his team - we went from our philosophy...to actually creating our concept."
