Girvin partnered with the leadership teams of the Northwest Architectural Company over the period of two years in guiding their groups in a series of decisions about the character and direction of their organization. This consulting effort was hardly a simple series of creative workshops and design or strategic charrettes. Instead, there were dynamic shifts in play within the planning of the organization, including adding new practice offices, dramatic expansions and wholesale definition of the new spirit of this rapidly shifting organization.


Girvin developed new missions, values and principles with the teams, as well as a series of message sets for varying types of communications. Our team created a new name compression for the organization - from Northwest Architectural Company - one which Tim Girvin had been working on some 25 years ago to the new leaner and more modernist presentation - NAC | Architecture. In addition to the strategic and positioning discussions, the Girvin | Seattle creative team built the new identity, brand guides, print systems and website.
