Galleries, Museums & Exhibits

GIRVIN brings 50 years of experience as brand strategists, storytellers and exhibit-design consultants for museums, galleries, collectors and arts organizations. The portfolio includes Artériel, a fine-art print venture named and branded for founder Kirsten Sodernlind that launched in partnership with the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston; decades of catalogues, posters and exhibition design for the Detroit Institute of Arts' Friends of Asian Art; and the original two-story identity and concrete signage program for the Seattle Art Museum, developed with Olson Walker and Venturi Scott Brown. It also spans retail gallery branding for Sandra Collins | Gallery Nikko, a revitalized identity and wayfinding system for the Wing Luke Asian Museum, and full exhibit design and interactive media for the Microsoft Museum.
