We’ve talked about, or I’ve written about, that idea of retail experience in the context of feeling what the environment might be like. What if there was the chance to tell that story online in a more compelling, livelier modeling? Rather than the usual stuff – stuff hanging on the line. Stuff just sitting there, static – nothing to connect with, no reference to personality than the typical corporate framing.

What if that came alive? Like – what might the experience be? An amusement, then…

How about this? http://producten.hema.nl/

Hang for a second or two, and see what happens.

Hema is a Dutch department store, founded in 1926 in Amsterdam. 150 stores. They’ve ranged out to Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany. Lion Capital picked them up in 2007.

Humor me, please. Might be what customers could use right about now.
