The Question in the Quest
Every great journey starts with a question.

The ask is the foundation of listening:

you ask, you learn, you speak, you hear,

you lean in,

you’ll sense and see more wholly.

Because you’re closer.

The big question always comes as the off hand remark, that if you’re listening to the sentence, the clause, the note — it appears, right there.

The big ask is the simplest.

It is the foundation of question — the why, the where, the who. What? And that will lead to: because. But that is be cause. Any answer is commitment, doing something.

Be.
Cause.
Do.
Some.
Act.
Thing.

These are foundation words. I think that I’ve written dozens of words, sentences about that questioning. And sometimes, the notation of query is something different — it is a word that comes at you backwards — the ebb and flow of language, seen backwards, colored with sound.

HOW | WHO
The coloration of presence is a map to the ask, which might be everything, and anything, all at once, the same time, once in a lifetime. And that’s what it is: life time.

BEGIN | BEING
––––––
(W)HERE | TH(ERE)
––––––
These are questions: I will listen to the scent, the big ask of the moment — I will taste the sound, the query of the air. I will touch the sense — the big ask of wholeness. It will never be about the answer; it will be about the question. The question is the voyage beginning.

The big ask is the quest.
